Lake Shannon Sportsmen's Club
This club is run on a volunteer basis for the sole purpose of creating a family environment for all Lake Shannon residents to enjoy. We encourage you to not only join, but get involved in activities and events in order to strengthen our community.
Meetings are held ten times a year (no meeting in April or October), usually on the first Friday of the month.

Annual dues of $30 can be paid by mailing to Patrick Crunk - LSSC Treasurer, 7477 Ore Knob Drive, Fenton, MI 48430. Payments can also be placed in the black mailbox marked "LSSC" on the front porch at 7477 Ore Knob Drive. Dues are for a calendar year starting January 1. If you pay dues after October 31, they will count for the rest of that calendar year and the following calendar year. If you pay dues in June, they will count for the rest of that calendar year, not until the following June.
The LSSC also owns a pontoon trailer that is available for use by members who have also joined the pontoon trailer group. Membership in the pontoon trailer group requires a one-time $30 lifetime membership and a $20 annual group maintenance fee.
The Lake Shannon Sportsmen’s Club is now able to accept Venmo payments for all club business (Membership Dues, Event Tickets, Donations, etc.)
Please read these instructions carefully:
In the Venmo app, look for “LSSC Treasurer”. You can confirm that this is our club by the Lake Shannon map icon. The Venmo name is “@LSSC-Treasurer”
The first time you make a payment, you must enter the last four digits of the phone number associated with the account. As of now (Decmember, 2025) those digits are “2887”. You will need to do this only once – the first time you make a payment. This is another verification that you are paying the correct Venmo account.
When Venmo asks “What’s it for?”, enter what you would put on the memo line of a check so that the Treasurer knows exactly what the payment is for. E.g. “2026 Dues”, “4 Lobster Roast tickets”, “Fish Stocking Donation”. If it is not clear from your Venmo account name who the payment is from, also include your name on the “What’s it for?” entry. Mark the payment as a "Payment Between Friends" - DO NOT mark it as a "Purchase" - the Club will be charged a 2.99% seller's fee which you will then have to also pay.
After your first payment, “LSSC Treasurer” should show up in your list of payees to make it easier for subsequent payments.
